Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect

None. GeminiErase does not collect, store, or process any personal data. We do not require you to create an account, enter your email address, or provide any identifying information to use the watermark removal tool.

Your images are decoded and processed entirely within your web browser using the Canvas API and Web Workers. At no point does any image data leave your device.

2. Cookies and Tracking

GeminiErase does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any form of persistent tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar third-party tracking services on the core tool.

Standard browser session behavior may apply (e.g., your browser caching static assets for performance), but this is not under our control and does not transmit data to us.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services for non-tool functionality only:

  Firebase (Google Firestore) - Used exclusively as a CMS backend for our blog. Blog post content and metadata is stored in Firestore. Firebase is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No image data from the watermark tool is ever sent to Firebase.

  Cloudinary - Used exclusively to host cover images for our blog posts. Images you upload to the watermark removal tool are never sent to Cloudinary.

4. Image Processing

The entire watermark detection and removal process runs inside your browser using JavaScript. Specifically:

• 01.Your image is read from your local file system using the browser File API
• 02.It is decoded to raw pixel data using an HTML Canvas element
• 03.The pixel data is processed by a Web Worker running in your browser
• 04.The processed result is re-encoded as a PNG data URL in your browser
• 05.You download the result directly from your browser

At no step in this process is your image transmitted over the network.

5. Log Data

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically collect standard server logs including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and the pages you visit. This data is used solely for security monitoring and infrastructure diagnostics and is not linked to your identity or to any images you process.

6. Children's Privacy

GeminiErase is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly address it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of GeminiErase after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
