By accessing or using GeminiErase at geminierase.site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of the site.

2. Description of Service

GeminiErase is a free, browser-based tool that detects and removes the visible watermark from images generated by Google Gemini. The tool uses a mathematical reverse alpha blending algorithm and processes all images locally in your browser. No images are uploaded to our servers.

The service includes a watermark removal tool, a blog with informational content, and associated static pages. The service is provided free of charge with no account required for the core tool.

3. Permitted Use

You may use GeminiErase to:

• -Remove the visible watermark from images you have generated using Google Gemini or Nano Banana
• -Process images for personal, educational, or creative purposes consistent with Google's Gemini Terms of Service
• -Download and use the processed images in accordance with the applicable image license

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use GeminiErase to:

• -Violate Google's Gemini Terms of Service or any applicable terms governing AI-generated content
• -Process images for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• -Misrepresent AI-generated images as original human-created works in contexts where such representation is deceptive or harmful
• -Circumvent legitimate copyright protection in ways not permitted by law
• -Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service infrastructure
• -Use the service in any way that could harm other users, third parties, or the service itself

5. Compliance with Google Gemini Terms

GeminiErase removes only the visible watermark overlay from Gemini-generated images. The tool does not remove SynthID or any other invisible watermarks embedded by Google. Users remain fully responsible for complying with Google's Terms of Service and Gemini's usage policies when using or distributing processed images.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

GeminiErase is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• -The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• -The watermark removal will be perfect on every image or in every use case
• -The results will meet your specific requirements

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GeminiErase and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from how you use the processed images.

8. Intellectual Property

The GeminiErase name, logo, website design, and original content are owned by GeminiErase. The watermark removal algorithm is original work. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.

Processed images belong to you, subject to the original license of the AI-generated content (i.e., Google Gemini's terms apply to the underlying image).

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
